Free domain?

Hi All,

I am about to deploy my first app to google play, so I am creating app landing page. Hosting provider offers free domain name, which looks like Somestuff.com where somestuff is added by provider. Do you think it would be better to buy proper domain name, like Website Hosting - Mysite.com or free domain name should suffice? I really don't want to spend money in advance before my app starts bringing me money but I don't want to miss out on users who might be turned out by free domain name.

Do you have experience promoting your apps with free domain names?

If I were you I would buy a proper domain name. It is much more professional, and leaves a better impression on potential users.

You can use a free domain like .tk (see here for lots more extensions), but I would advise against it as such domain may disappear anytime and all your hard work lost. Especially with .TK! Beware!
