Why can't I sign in to the play store?

I have been getting problems dealing with signing in the play store. "Can't establish reliable connection to servers" I have already tried everything like checking if time and date are correct, clearing cache of apps, checking for updates and even adding a pound symbol inside the hosts file but nothing seems to work. Please help me also I've tried to root my android but failed.

This happens on all wi-fi networks as well as mobile data? You've tried removing your Google account from the device, then adding it back? Is your Google Play Services version current?

My Google account won't work for anything signing to YouTube,syncing contacts, signing in Gmail, signing play store literally everything and my Google play is on the current new version.
