Help with Google Play!

So i made the switch from iPhone to Android this week and got a Samsung S6 edge and i am loving it so far except for one thing - Google Play. I purchased a few songs and a movie off it and they work fine when listened to or viewed on my google play apps, but when i downloaded them to my edge through the google play apps i cant seem to find them in my music or videos. When i go back to google play it shows they are downloaded to my device though. Can anyone help?

They would be in the Play Music app. Since they are downloaded, they won't stream and you listen to them from the internal storage.
