Question about the public release

I was wondering if it is known at all when google+ will be open to the public? I've done google searches but with no results

I'm curious, too. I found a big long thread, with no answer...

Worth it? Only when/if your friends and family flock there. I like the interface better than Facebook...yet use it just a little Guess I'm just an "asocialnetworking" person.
