Signal / App Performance Shoddy Lately? (6P)

Hello all. Just curious if anyone else has been experiencing slightly shoddier than usual signal and/or app performance recently. One thing I've been noticing more lately is that gmail is not refreshing email on its own. I've been having to go into the app and pull down for a refresh. Not sure if this is a 6P/Doze issue, signal issue or app issue. I used to have this problem periodically with my former phone (Galaxy S5 on Verizon), which I chalked up to terrible Verizon signal in NYC buildings. Thanks!

I'm going to have to go with the Gmail app. I have a Moto G 2015 and have this issue as well. I had it ever since upgrading to 6.0. I have T-Mo as well but this issue is with and without Wi-Fi. And from scrolling the forums, we're not the only ones.
