So, non-verizon people gets shanked with this phone?
I'm one of those poor fellow of at&t, and I want this phone. But since it's only avilable in verizon, that means there is 0% chance for me to get this phone. Is there any loophole so I can buy this phone?
I hate waiting for the unlocked version... - 10-19-2011, 12:28 AM #2

Carriers have not been announced for the U.S. yet so you still have hope!!! I am on T-mobile and I am praying that this phone gets a Tmo release!!

I doubt it will be verizon only. That would be a disaster, as verizon's network is US-only. You will be able to get your hands on one soon.

I think it does have the radio frequencies to run on AT&T and T-Mobile. I will also be getting a Nexus Prime and use it on AT&T.

Well... Since the specs were all for the non-LTE version, you may be in luck. Personally, I'm hoping the reason for the discrepancies between the two pre-announcement sets of specs we heard was that the other was the LTE version (dual 1.5GHz, 8MP/2MP cameras, bigger battery, maybe an xdsd slot).
