VPN Doesn't work on ICS!!!
I currently have an New unlocked Nexus phone I got from Europe and I’m using it on the AT&T network. This phone has been working as expected; awesome!!!!! However it has one huge downside; the VPN will not work with our Sonicwall NSA3500!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve spent over 8hours with tech support on this issue and bottom line 4.0.1 ICS will not connect to our firewall!! We’ve tried connecting L2TP /IPsec PSK and the Netextender app in the Android market (yes, I have unlocked and rooted the phone). The L2TP connection keeps timing out and the SSL Netextender give me an I/O Error.
We’ve tested the L2TP VPN on my old nexus (2.3.4) and it works just fine.
Is anyone else having this issue??? Does anyone know of a fix????? Please help if you know of a solution; thanks!!!

According to a changelog on XDA-developers, there is a new firmware version 4.0.2
One of the changes mentions VPN. I don't know if it is your issue or not. but you may give it a try.
