Default An app to bump the volume?

I love my Galaxy Nexus but it is entirely way too low when it comes to volume. Even with the volume maxed out. Anything to increase it?

I just installed Volume+ on mine and it works great. Plus, the headphone enhancement is a nice feature for me. Here's the other thread on here Volume+ (Full Version)

I just saw the other thread discussing the same thing. Sorry bout that. I will try out that app. I really hope this is fixed in the next update. The volume is just sad.

Is this just notifications or when you get phone calls? Or both

I installed Volume + last night and it did not make any difference. (stock Verizon issue G-Nex 4.0.2 installed) After install I saw a series of sliders for the various sound functions all set at 7. After quitting and then going back into the app the UI changed to a dial with volume function buttons at the top. Again no matter what I did with the volume, it did not have any influence on my phone. I checked the sound settings menu and all sounds were turned up to max where I set them right after buying my phone.
    Thoughts?

Make sure you have the right volume + app since there are a couple on the market.

I downloaded Volume+ from the Amazon app market...I couldn't find it in the regular market. I was a huge skeptic...especially after trying pixel fixer to try to fix a stuck pixel and that didn't work. Volume + really does work though. I have it set to +5 and I actually had to turn down the volume for the first time!

this issue on the galaxy nexus' low volume... this is just a firmware issue, not a hardware issue, right?

i have no issues when listening to music or watching videos with earphones. it's the speakerphone volume that i don't like, especially when your out in public places.
