Default does Verizon have an exclusive on the GNex for a few weeks?

Very odd that no carriers have announced their versions yet...

Everything I've read says Verizon has a lengthy exclusive. Luckily, I'm a Verizon customer and love my Nexus.

Such a great reply. Way to make a counter point and give examples with citations to prove your statement.

AT&T and T-Mobile users: go to your store and use your upgrade on an iPhone or another new expensive phone. Don't open it, list it for sale on Craigslist/eBay, and sell it to make a few hundred bucks. Then you can buy the unlocked Galaxy Nexus and just stick your SIM in and your good to go.

I love my Galaxy Nexus from Verizon.

On the other hand, if I'm a T-Mobile or AT&T customer, I will buy the Samsung Galaxy SII.
(better yet, wait for the SIII)

If I absolutely must have a Galaxy Nexus, I can always buy the unlocked GSM version($$$$$)
and stick the AT&T or T-Mobile SIM card inside.

    - I'd bet that the duration of vzw's exclusivity also covers promo/ads/announcements, so no word for now from possible future carriers.
    - i will continue to hold out for a possible ATT GNex. ive waited this long and still distrust vzw, so
a bit more waiting is ok for me.
    - i will also speculate that if ATT gets the gnex, it will not be a $300 phone. but if it comes in Feb it may be $249. the S II is still 199 over there today.
    - if the S II drops in price i may just drop the gnex cus the S II is such a tight package.
    - hey, waiting has been pretty interesting. now I'm curious about CES. maybe waiting is just my new game. ugh.

    merry xmas.

SII definitely seems to be less buggy.
For the GNex, we now have volume isn't loud enough, sucks batteries (only on LTE hopefully), random reboots, crappy camera (at least compared to the SII).

I remember before the Verizon version came out, the cdma version for tmobile and at&t had gone through FCC approval....Im not 100% on that, but I think that happened...and if that's the case then it will for sure come out, just matter of time...can anyone else recall?

I do recall hearing/reading that the vzw g-nex will have an exclusive on ICS for either 6 weeks or 6 months.
as for the sg2, yeah it is more stable since it is running a tried/true version of android that is also older.
