Eh, I don't really care if the processor is clocked at 1.5 ghz, 1.2 ghz is blazing fast as it is! I can always overclock my Nexus, I'm already rooted so it wouldn't be hard. The problem I see is that the 1.5 ghz processor will use more power, making battery life even more of an issue (an issue I have yet to really experience). The good thing is that it may just come with a larger battery (larger than the current extended battery), which might work with the CDMA amd GSM variants! Now if the Sprint Gnex comes with a better processor, I'm going to be irritated. :)

depends on what type of cpu they put.. 1.5ghz sounds more like snapdragon S3 to me, imo thats more like downgrade to use qualcomn chip for LTE/3G in soc.

for example, 3G version of GNote in europe equipped with Exynos 1.4ghz, in korea they put Snapdragon S3 for LTE version, ppl found out korean version is more laggy/drain battery/higher temperature so they paid full price to get europe version.
