Battery low notification glitch

Hey guys

I have been using the Galaxy Nexus for about a month now, and it's an amazing phone.

A week ago, however, the phone starts doing something weird when the battery is below 15%.

The screen would randomly turn on when locked and the phone keeps spamming the battery low notification every 2 seconds for no reason.

I have suspicions that it's an app that is not fully compatible with android 4.0 but does anyone have this problem? I'd really hate to return this device to Handtec in UK and wait God knows how long for a replacement.

Mine is doing this too. Ive reflashed roms n kernels with no luck. Anyone else have this problem.

Reset factory defaults... test.. if same then return for replacement... however as you say probably a junk app.

I don't have this issue and never heard about it. But I would probably make a backup and then reset the phone.

Does it only do it when its plugged in?

After a year and a half, what did u do? did u manage to resolve this problem?
...right now, i'm so annoyed!
