    Default Constantly switching between 3G/HSPA

    Hi,

    I just got a GSM Galaxy Nexus, and I've been loving the phone. But the phone keeps switching between 3G and HSPA. I think it's causing battery drain. Is this because I haven't registered the IMEI?

    I had full bars HSPA with a Sensation 4G.

    I have the GSM version as well, but I haven't noticed this issue. However, I should also mention that mine is rooted and running stock 4.0.2. I try to keep it on wifi whenever I'm @home and I'm not on my phone much when I'm at work.

    From what I've read, it defaults to 3G and uses HSPA+ only when actually transmitting data.
