Had it about a week, and love it. Only done slight modding to previous phones, never rooted so this was my first. Other noobs can see what I've done, and be inspired to do it themselves. I've included the names of files I've used, but not links. They're easy enough to find.

Stock 4.0.2 ROM, unlocked & rooted, UV / OC performance kernel by FAUX123
( [Kernel]GN-LTE[3.0.16]ICS4.0.2/3,UV,GPU+CPU OC,CIFS,FIOPS,OTG(v0.0.8) )

Using ClockworkMod Recovery, SetCPU, ROM Manager and ROM Toolbox for tweaks.

Using djmcnz's No Search Bar 4x5 MOD ( icslaunchernosearch4x5v3.zip )
This gives me an invaluable extra row of icons.

Must have apps for me: Aldiko, Andricious, AppBrain, ComicRack, CovertPad, Fancy Widgets, Hacker's Keyboard, Live Logcat, Minimalistic text, MX Video Player, Pandora, QuickPic, RTA Pro, Screebl Pro, SoundHound, Volume+ Pro

Next up is figuring out how to get my stock ROM deodexed so I can start playing with themes.

Current AnTuTu rating: 6155
