Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
Average for me from unplugging in the morning is 14-16 hrs as reported by android battery stats....typically translates to 2-2.5 hrs of screen on time.....wish it were more but I don't think its bad for Android. With my iphone I was able to get much more screen on time, but I like both to be honest.

About 16Hrs on average. Which is better than the SGSII, skyrocket, and 4s.

Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
For me it's not since my battery is lasting me and I have an extra micro USB wall charger at work and 1 in the truck just in case.
FYI:
Found Genuine Samsung 2000mAh battery and door on ebay for under $45.00 from highly rated sellers out of the Far East, but delivery is going to take awhile. - 02-19-2012, 10:29 AM #7

Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
I never had any battery issues on my 4S, and have been very happy with my GSII and GSII Skyrocket battery life cycles. My GNex is in the mail from Negri, and I'm not worried about the battery life at at. I get great service, so I don't expect the same issues my buddy gets with his VZW version. He has the 3500 mah (pretty sure that's the size), and terrible reception at home and work- the battery only lasts him about 12 hours before it's completely dead. There's no LTE in his neck of the woods, but at my house, he gets 30+MBPS. He barely grasps a 3G connection for 90% of the week, and his battery life is pure .

Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
I'd say my normal is 13-16hrs depending on usage. 3hrs of screen on time. On a mix of HSPA+ and WiFi throughout the day. 3 gmail and 2 email accounts pushing, twitter/facebook push sync, etc.. and 65% screen bright.
I definitely don't baby it or go out of my way to save battery and it makes the whole day easily.LG Nexus 4 // T-Mobile - 02-21-2012, 07:29 PM

Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
FYI:
Scooped up (off of ebay) a 2000mAh Samsung battery and cover and although I didn't really expect to see much more battery capacity vs. the stock 1750mAh battery I am pleasantly surprised that I now can go just over 2 days without recharging with light to moderate use. Plus the fit looks stock with no unsightly battery bulge and both of my cases fit with no problem! - 04-28-2012, 04:28 PM #16
Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM

I had mine on auto brightness and it always made the screen look way to dim. Anyone else notice that?

Re: GNex Battery Life with GSM
noticing the Facebook SUCKING battery life out of my GNex like it's going out of style.... uninstalled to see how it improves... Facebook needs to seriously fix their app and errant background processes...

I've had my nexus a couple months now and I'm getting about 14 to 18 hours on moderate use. 2 days with very light use. And about 6 to 8 hours with very heavy use. I'm very impressed with this phone and happy I chose the GSM version.
