Well you're gonna be waiting for a bit. Your phone isn't a "yakju" device so you have to wait for Samsung for your updates.

I wonder when Samsung is going to release their version of of 4.0.4 for the yakjuxw version of the GSM phones

It's so silly that there are so many different versions of the Gnex phones. The reason I bought the Gnex was because I read and heard that it was Google's flagship phone and it will be the one which receives all the updates first... I don't get why some phones will receive the update from Google and yet others will have to wait until Samsung releases their own update...

If you don't mind unblocking your bootloader, that may be the fastest route to 4.0.4.

I got my GN on Friday. It came with yakjujp which isn't updated by Google. The first thing I did was flash it out and replace it with yakju (4.0.4).

I just got it (had to manually check for updates) and it's running nicely, noticed a few new things in the browser already.

No, your data will be fine, you can update without any problems.

You may be the first person in the US to have gotten it. I just manually checked on mine and nothing. On AT&T in CT.

What version do you have? Yakju, yakjuxw, etc? What network are you on? Im on Tmobile with yakjuxw. I know thats not updated by google. Thanks in advance!

I have the yakju build Nexus on T-Mobile. I checked quickly while I was out running some errands, saw that an update was available, let it download and voila, 4.04

It shouldn't really depend on the carrier, but rather IMEI I think. Just keep checking regularly, eventually you'll get it

Got mine yesterday after I did the 'checkin'. I cleared 'Google Framework Services' data and then did a *#*#checkin#*#* from the dialer (I read about this in one of the blogs).

I am in Canada with 'yakju' build and unlocked bootloader.
