Default Upgrading Rogers GN from 4.01 to 4.04

    Hey guys

I'm brand new to this, so I apologize in advance for the super newb question. I currently have the Rogers Google Nexus i9250 model.
I happen to have the grey signal bar issue and, as a result, I'd like to upgrade to the 4.04 as I see that there's an OTA update available to correct this issue.

    Questions:
    1. How can I tell what build I'm on? i.e. I see in some forums that all Nexus phones sold in Canada are the same build, i.e. yakjuux
    How do I confirm this?

    2. Does have anyone have a link to upgrading to 4.04? I'm looking for detailed instructions and seem to be finding only bits and pieces online.

    Thanks in advance.

Nevermind - found an easy article here and I'm all upgraded!

I also flashed from Roger's stock 4.0.2 to yakju 4.0.4. Much better at holding on to a signal, although I still have the occasional problem... just not as often.

I think the two biggest improvements I've seen so far are:
    1. Faster screen rotation
    2. Signal bars - so far, I haven't seen the grey bars issue, so I think that update did the trick.

I wrote a complementary post to that linked article:

I upgraded as well and the battery life is STELLAR. Got an OTA radio update a few days ago, so nice to know that will work OK.
