Should I flash 76D or 76I?

Hello friends.
Thank to your invaluable advice I feel I'm ready to take the risk in spite of my newbness and maybe flash to a yakju 4.0.4 (since my phone came with 4.0.2 non-yakju). I want this mainly so I can have the benefits of 4.0.4 over 4.0.2 and most importantly be yakju so I can eventually get jellybean OTA.
I just now learnt that there are two different 4.0.4 builds: one IMM76D and one IMM76I.
Common sense dictates I should flash the latest one (76I), but I have learnt through hardship not to trust my common sense. So, which one do I flash?
Thanks!

I ran 76I with no problems at all (until I took the flying leap into the world of ROMs). In fact in a few moments I'm gonna go back to stock (76I) to be sure I've got a factory-fresh start before tasting some Jelly Bean goodness!

Just use the most recent. It would update itself anyway. If you're in the US i'd use the takju build. Same as yakju but with wallet built in. Someday it might be really useful, lol.

Thank you very much. I have the I version ready.
Now, one last question please:
How can I backup my current non-yakju 4.0.2 build before flashing the new one in case I need to go back to it later?
