What sort of stores/transactions? Gas pumps? Drivethru's?

Not using it at all. Can't use it with Visa, can you? Only Mastercard?

yeah I have a question on this.......I use Visa tied to my Chase account.....looks like the only way I can use Wallet is by using the "Google PrePaid Card" and top it up with my Chase card?

Sadly, mine won't even load up the prepaid card. The only places I have seen that even have the compatible bump to pay stations is McDonalds, which is probably very well for me that my Google Wallet doesn't work.

Google needs to partner with PayPal for local NFC payments.

i could see a lot of benefit of this for people who have NFC Phones & PayPal accounts & regularly purchase items/services from small vendors (ie outdoor markets)

of course, this also opens up a whole new world to Drug Dealers. but that's a risk i'm willing to take.

Just used it at CVS a little while ago to buy a birthday card for my wife. The only other place I've used it so far is McD's. The first time I did, the girl at the counter said, "That was so cool."
