Is there a problem with my order from Google Play

I ordered a Galaxy Nexus Phone on the 3rd of July (right before they took it off the market) Its been back on sale for almost 2 weeks now and I still haven't received a tracking number, and the order still shows has open with no problems in my Google wallet account.

I called Google last Thursday and asked if there was any problem. The guy told me about the ban and that I should receive the tracking number on Friday or Monday, and if I didn't get one by the end of the week call back.

I'm going to call again tomorrow afternoon if I still don't have a tracking number. But I'm curious has anyone here ordered a Galaxy Nexus from the Google Play store after the 3rd of July and received it?

I ordered mine on July 3 as well. As of yesterday, I received no shipping information. I had called 5 times and email numerous times to find out why it hadn't shipped yet. I got the run around every time. It really burned me up when people who ordered 7 days after me started receiving their device.

I ended up canceling my order. I can not do business with a company with that much lack of support, especially on product ordering.

Would have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. Say what some will about their software, but between this and the Nexus 7 they have bungled the physical retail side of the Play Store pretty good.

I ordered mine on 7/12 and received it yesterday on 7/17.

If you have these old orders out there and haven't heard anything, you need to get on the phone and find out what's going on. If they really can't help you, cancel your order.

I'd even say if you cancel your order - just place a new order, I'd bet it goes right through.

It all seems so haphazard , ordering on the 3rd and getting no tracking # is just BS. I don't blame you for cancelling, and some like me ordered on July 10th and got it a few days later......no consistency at all.

I don't blame you for canceling. If I had waited that long without getting any status info at all I would have done the same thing.

I ordered a Nexus phone Monday night July 16. I received an email today with tracking. UPS tracking says it will be delivered tomorrow by end of day. I was charged $10.50 for 2 day shipping when I ordered it.

The policy is that Google has up to 3 business days to process the order and get it into UPS's hands. Then the 2 day delivery takes over. Hopefully the processing time will speed up once the Nexus 7 chaos is over.

I ordered mine on the 15th, and the UPS Origin Scan happened today (18th).

I gave them a call today during lunch and the lady I talked to said she'd have to forward my call to a specialist.

If I don't hear anything back via email by tomorrow lunch time I think I'll call back (I was on hold an hour today) and cancel the order and reorder in a few months.

I wish you luck. I too was forwarded to a specialist. It took them 4 days to get back to me with a canned reply.

Well the specialist never called. So I gave them another call tonight.

Apparently all outstanding orders placed between the 3rd and 4th are now classified has stuck by Google (The agent received a notice today). Their procedure is to cancel the order on their end (you have to call) and have you resubmit a new order.

I asked the lady I talked to for free overnight shipping. She did not have the power to grant the request but said she would write in a ticket and see if the request could be granted.

I'll post the outcome later.

Well my phone should be here tomorrow....

Yea Google never sent me any kinda reply about shipping.... I may email them after I get the phone... Don't feel like waiting on hold again

I'd say if you don't get a tracking number within two business days cancel your order and reorder.

They finally responded to one of my email. 5 DAYS LATER!

Since that time I've cancelled my order, reordered, and got a tracking number.

I purchased my GN on 7/17 and received no notice until 7/20 when the phone arrived, my order status was updated in Google Wallet and I received an email from Google Play indicating the order was shipped on 7/18.

Im thinking Im in the same boat. Ordered on Saturday, no update to my wallet order status, no email.
Im going to give it another day but if the phone is in stock, youd think this would be a quick process to ship this thing. The mandatory 2-day shipping cost is crap if they cant fullfill the orders.

Just got off of a 41 minute hold with Google.
Talked to "Jessica" who said that they are running a two day lead time on the Nexus phones and that she expected my order to ship tonight.

We'll see..! (anxious!) ;)
