Face Unlock defect

Hello,

I believe there is a defect in face unlock because my friend used his face to unlock my gnex when it's programmed to mine. Any one else notice this? Thanks for the input

haven't had the chance to test FaceUnlock extensively yet, but

have you trained it in multiple lighting conditions?

You can do this under the security settings, as it's suggested to improve accuracy/security.

I've had three others try to get into my phone with face unlock, and its kept them out each time. Is it your twin brother?

Friend of mine took a picture of me with his phone, then with it displayed on his, he held it infront of mine and it unlocked it. Not secure, but convenient.

In Jelly Bean there is now an option called "Liveliness Check".
If you check that you have to blink to unlock the device..

So pictures wont work...

but God help us all if someone prints out a picture, pokes holes in the eyes, and blinks as its held up to his/her face.

in fact, i'm trying this tonight with mine.

FedEx/Kinkos employees are going to turn into a wild ring of thieves that rival the mighty Foot.

(not saying anything against the Liveness Check--i love this security feature)

haha... it might be true but i guess it might be difficult than that to break the liveliness check...
try it out and let us know how that goes... I would like to know
