Is there a way to change weather to Celsius? on voice command JB

Have you changed it to Celsius in the settings?

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Are you talking in Google Search/Now or in other stuff?

If it's for Search, go in Google Now settings, and tap the settings for the weather card. That's the way it worked for me!

open google now menu-->settings-->Google now-->weather-->weather units

I don't have anything called Google Now under settings. Only Voice, Phone Search and Privacy & accounts. There are no cards either. But I finally got the voice search and the talk back to work. Any suggestions how I can fix this?

Re: Is there a way to change weather to Celsius? on voice command

On my GNex I have two weather apps. One is "News and Weather" and the other is "Accuweather". If you open "News and Weather" and then click on the three dots at upper right, you get "Settings" in a drop down. Click on that and you can find where you can toggle metric on or off. The process is similar for "Accuweather" as well. But, if you click on "Settings" for the phone itself, you won't find anything there. It's app related.

If you click on the mic for voice search, it also shows the three dots for menu.

If you click on that and then on settings, it shows the option for Google now.

Once you set your weather and home location, it automatically use the correct temperature and distance units

The voice command will only give the right weather units when you select it.
>Menu (where APPS are located) > click on g (Google) > click on the i inside the circle >will show Weather units, click on it > Click on Celsius.

Once this is done then on your voice command for weather, it will give the celsius unit.

Whether your phone registers Centigrade or Fahrenheit depends on whether your language setup was enabled for English (UK) or English (US). Depending on that setting you will either get a voice answer in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. Celsius is not on the list, but I'm sure there's an App for it somewhere.

My GS4 Google 'Voice Search' says the correct town however, the temperature is way off...it'll say it's "31 degrees" in my town but it's summer and in the upper 80's!
To the right of the incorrect temp number 31 is C/F ... the C is black, the F is blue indicating it's reading Fahrenheit, but why the wrong temp?
Everything in the phone is set-up for 'English (US) etc...am I missing something else?

i confirm the quot on the issue of temperature unit. None of suggessions was valid. My Lenovo A3000-H always shows degrees Farenheit despite the location have set to Thailand and the Basic parameter in Accuweather is changed to Metric. Also the claim of at least two Google web sites that say the unit will change according to the location of the device may not fully true. My device is in Thailand and the front page, not sure this is what they call a narrative forecast or not, shows correct location name but the temperature is in ?F still. Or I have to set a location to the device directly? I`m looking forward to a solution. Thanks.

i had the same problem and found the settings option is only available under specific circumstance, go to the main apps menu, select google then scroll down till you find the weather box, you will now see the box has the settings dots. Select that and you can change the temperature units to centigrade.
