I use my GNex on Tmobile in Paterson NJ where I work - and I come from the West (PA). As I come west to east the closer you get to NYC the better the coverage. In Paterson the coverage is excellent if you live in NYC I would think you would be very happy with Tmobile. If you travel at all though would be cautious. There are places in Northwest NJ and Northeast PA where I only get Edge service, and sometimes the service completely drops.

Im in NYC 90% of the time. I suspect the savings will be worth the extra sim card I will have to carry.
