I recorded a few videos using my Galaxy Nexus, however, I notice that there are popping noise during playback. It doesn't happen to all videos, but most of them do have a couple for about a 30 secs video. Do you guys have that issue?

Thanks

Usually a sign of a bad file. I get them occasionally on music as well from other sources.

Sorry that I wasn't too clear. I meant recorded video from my Nexus camcorder.

I understood what you meant. It is usually a sign of a corruption in the file structure somewhere. Doesn't matter where the file came from. If you are repeatedly getting this you may need to return the device.

it seems like it doesn't happen all the time. But it does happen. Do you think something is wrong with the flash memory?

It is possible and it is also possible it is software related or camera related. If it happens often enough I would consider a replacement.

It also can happen when another app (or event) is doing something. Like a SMS coming in, call, widget updating, etc. Do you see any pattern in that respect? Does the same video always do it? If so, I go back to a problem with the file as it was saved. If you have a file that always does it, try copying it to your PC and playing it there.

Thanks Patruns. I don't use the camcorder feature enough to justify to get a replacement due to all the hassle I have to go thru, plus reinstall everything. As long as I don't run into any other issue, this is such a GREAT PHONE with Jelly Bean. I love it more than any other phones I have ever had!

I have this same problem with the stock Samsung camera on my Note 2. An example of the sound can be heard on this sample video.

I has been driving me nuts. No problem with the mic when recording voice-files, or using the phone.

Different camera apps, same thing. However: I've flashed CM 10.1 and no problems with the 4.2 camera. This all leads me to believe that it's a problem with my TW. I've tried flashing other stock ROMs, to no avail.

It's been making me really mad because, for once, I actually prefer the stock Sammy camera. I don't know what else to do.
