    Default Galaxy Nexus and 4.1.2

I have a stupid question. 4.1.2 on the Nexus 7 adds a rotating home screen. Do you know if the Galaxy nexus got this feature? I know I can install a launcher but it would be cool if it could rotate while stock.

Don't believe that 4.1.2 adds auto-rotation to anything but the Nexus 7.

Reading the changelog indicates that there's no launcher rotation added to the GNex. The full stock 4.1.2 images are already out so many people are already using it, no one is reporting launcher rotation being enabled.

Oh well there goes wishful thinking. Thankfully there apps for that. As for me personal it would of been good but for sure isn't a deal breaker.

I having been using an app called "Ultimate Rotation Control". There is a free and paid version, I purchased the paid version , it is a great stable app. I use it all the time.

Try the free version if you want to check it out.

I loaded up the factory 4.1.2 then rooted my GNEX. I then used Build Prop Editor to add launcher.force_enable_rotation I set the variable to true, rebooted and now my homescreen works in landscape.

If you had scrolled down a little bit in the forum first you would have seen another thread on 4.1.2 with a link to the change log.
