Gnex doesnt have TV shut off effect when locking

I just tried nova launcher and the effect was still there. I actually want to get rid of it on my phone which is why I thought I'd see if that would work, but it was still there. So at least with default nova settings, that would not be the cause.

Hey, did you or some app you installed change your window animation scale under Developer options? If I set mine to .5x it does not have the TV shut off effect but if I change it to 1 or 1.5, etc it does. Try changing yours around and see if there is any difference. The default value is 1x in case anyone messes with theirs and wants to set it back. I don't like the effect of the other settings myself so I'm keeping mine at 1. Guess I'll download an app to change the shut off animation instead. But I hope this helps the OP or someone else.

Lol yes, that was the problem. I had changed it to 5x once a while ago.. I now have it on 1.. Thank you!
