    Default Kernels....

    How do download and install a kernel? I ve always been installing custom roms on the stock kernel. Kindly help!

    Depends on which kernel you want to use. Most of them are usually flashable ZIPs. I use Franco's kernels. Great performance and battery life. You can find them at http://www.minooch.com/franciscofran...JB/Jelly Bean/

    Just flash zips in recovery like you do with a ROM. Usually wipe cache but not data. I'm not sure about other formats though.

    Start with Franco.Kernel. He probably does the best work for the Gnex. You can find it along with all the info here.

    Yeah kernels will just overwrite the old one like the radios (as long as it's a flashable zip.)
