I got an unlocked Gnex couple of months ago and it worked fine until the 4.1.2 update. I have 2 widgets on my home screen and it takes like 5 minutes to load them after powering on or rebooting the device. Plus, I get the "the application has stopped working" very frequently with pretty much every app. Google Now takes forever to show me the cards when I ask it something like "how old is..."
Sometimes it freezes for 10 seconds or so, and it reboots itself.
Should I try a hard reset or wait until Nov 13 for the next update?

I would say hard reset. you wont get the next update on 13th. it will take a week more after that.

and from what i can see its some sw issue because of the previous update.

well, I performed the hard reset and everything is smooth again. Thanks for the advice still1.
