Opening audio attachments (MP3 etc.) from within Gmail

Hi,

I have a Galaxy Nexus and also a Nexus 7. On my Nexus 7, when I open a audio attachment (like an MP3) in Gmail, the attachment is being played directly in Gmail (there is a holo themed overlay with a pause button and play progress). On my Galaxy Nexus, that function seems to be missing. Instead of playing the audio attachment, it asks me what program I want to open it with.

Any ideas why the N7 seems to be different than the GNex in this regard?

Thanks!

its normal. select one app(most probably music player) listed in there and click always.

your Gnex has 2 app which play music but your nexus 7 has only 1 music player.

Nope. I have many different music players on both devices. The holo themed overlay player on the N7 is definitely not something I installed, so it must be part of the stock Android experience. As I said, it's playing the files directly from within Gmail. It's not opening another app. I want the same on my Gnex.
