Had the same issue on my GNex (still 4.1) yesterday, and my N7 (now with 4.2). Other posts say to remove your Google account and then add it back in. Something about certificates is apparently to blame...
I was wondering the same about Google Now since the 4.2 update, but I am seeing updated traffic info based on my work commute....weather is updating and also the night/day header....
its not showing on the lockscreen when i slide up
Hi quick question here. When I first used Google Now, I selected "No, Maybe Later" option...
I was busy and just wanted to quickly check it out.
Now that I do want to set it up, there are no "3 dots" at the bottom.
I can still use the voice search function, but I have no way to customize the cards.
Anyone here had the same issue or know what I need to do?
You have to activate most of the cards individually. Tap on the "show sample cards" at the bottom and then go into each one you want to use to set them up.
You need to turn on location services in order for Google Now to work. Also from the lock screen...look for the circle of dots at the very bottom of the screen. Drag up from there and it will work.
