I don't know why they don't speaking that the only real difference is the play store model has Google wallet pre installed (as far as I know that's the only difference, correct me if I'm wrong )

I gave up waiting as well. Then again when I first got my Gnex it was a Yakjuux (or whatever the Samsung version sold in Canada was called). Flashed Takju to get 4.0.4 and haven't looked back since. I think the only OTA I got was a minor one while on 4.0.4, the rest I've flashed myself.

Not sure what the hold up is with Yakju versions. As mattatwar1 stated, the only difference (as far as I know) is Takju has Google Wallet baked in. (which for me, doesn't mean anything one way or the other. I don't can't use it in Canada anyway)

Google need to improve here. The yakju version is the international most selling version and still no update for it!!!

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy isn't this out for yakju yet. :'(

Could be worse. I could still be stuck on 4.0.4 like the rest of the Vodafone Australia variants of my phone. xD

You may check this page to see if the update is available https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#yakju

If it's on there you can download it via Software-Update on your phone.

I can confirm. Android 4.2 Yakju is released by Google. The page https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#yakju also shows the stock image for Yakju.
