I'm not sure if this is a 4.2.1 bug or something but when I switch to slide unlock (from pin lock) this is what I see. I don't see the camera and google now. And any direction I go to it's just that unlock icon. Nothing else.

Anyone else encountering this issue?

Swipe up from the circle under the unlock ring for Google Now. Swipe from the very right of the screen towards the left for the camera.

Or are you doing that and its not working? Hope that helps!

I'm already doing that and it does not work. usually there would be icons there indicating the camera, etc. But in this case that unlock icon just follows me around no matter which direction I swipe it to.

For the camera swipe from the right edge of the screen (not the ring). Literally put your finger on the edge of the phone and swipe towards the left edge.

I already know about those. Is that the way the lock is now?? Because if it is, it sucks in my opinion.. I want the old way where there are icons indicating camera, google now and unlock.

I think it was introduced in jellybean. I'm not sure but it might be to get around certain patents and for the lock screen widget navigation. I could be wrong though. The old way was easier.
