    Question How to connect Nexus to Home Server for Music?

    I met someone that had a server running at home with mp3s on it. Then he setup his android phone to connect to the server and stream his mp3s from it.
    I have one Windows PC at home (custom built). What is needed to setup a server? What is needed to connect to it from Android?

    On the pc, if you mark the folder with your music as public with r/w privileges for everyone, you can browse through it on your phone with ES file explorer under the LAN tab.
