Galaxy nexus is stuck on cyanogenmod 10.1 boot animation.

My , galaxy nexus ( Verizon) is stuck on cyanogenmod 10.1 boot animation! Yesterday, I decided to download the 10.1 ROM and know my phone is stuck on boot animation! Is, there any way how I can fix it ? I am, also new to custom ROMs. If, anyone here can help me that would great!

This is what I would do if I were you. Pull the battery put it back in. Boot into CWM (recovery) wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, install the CM10.1 rom again, install gapps again then reboot the phone. Hopefully you got it all figured out by now

Hello.

First when you downloaded and installed CM10, how did you go about doing so?

CWM (ClockWorkMod) or TWRP (TeamWin Recovery Project) recoveries or did you use ROM Manager or Goo Manager to install it ?

Basically I'm trying to get at if you properly wiped the device before flashing. If you didn't perform a wipe that could be your problem.
