Phone Update Grr!

Yesterday my phone updated and now nobody can hear me on my end altho I can hear them.
The phone worked fine before the update!! Can anyone help me with that?

Updated to what version? Also did you try taking out the battery, putting it back in and rebooting the phone? Does it work with a headset?

4.2.1 yes I took battery out n rebooted n I don't have a headset.

With that version you probably did not buy your Nexus through the Google play store and got it through one of the carriers. I would either post the issue to one of the carrier branded Nexus forums or drop by one of the carrier stores depending on who you bought it from.

Since it has recently been updated to Android 4.2.1, it is a non-yakju variant. The update has recently landed on yakjuux, yakjuxw, etc. Galaxy Nexus phones.

As for the problem, I have not encountered it myself. So I suggest going with what +pontiac005 said and request some help from your carrier.
