[Resolved] Messaging Lag

Hello, the messaging app on my phone lags when sending or receiving a message, or just typing in general.

It only happens when I text a particular person. I think that it's because there's about ~13k texts in the thread.

I've tried using the Textra app, but that just made it lag a lot more.

Should I start backing up and deleting my texts every week or so?

I frequently search old texts for info, so I'd like to keep it on my phone if possible.

[The oldest of the 13k messages is like less than a month old, so it's not like useless info from years back or anything]

Nevermind, Textra doesn't lag anymore. I don't know why. Maybe it finished its initial optimizing. Heh, sorry.
