Not getting G+ Noficiations on phone?

Is anyone else having trouble getting G+ notifications in the notification bar on your phone? It worked for a while for me, but not anymore. I will get them and they'll go through once I enter the app, but not until then. I've tried uninstall/reinstall, reboot, uncheck/check the boxes under settings. No luck. Anyone else?

They just lag at times, I experience it all the time. Set it to notify you via SMS for now, or EMAIL.

Spot on. To the op, it has been posted in the Google + blog that Google is working on the notifications servers.

I've been using it since day one, it's never been right. The notifications are at best random, at worst, non existent. Hope it's fixed soon, it's getting on my nerves now.
