HiFi DAC Support for BlueTooth Earbuds?

I want to know if this is possible. I'm not really hardware savvy, but my wired earbuds showed up on my devices DAC support. I'm using the LG V20 and I just upgraded to the yurbuds Leap Wireless earbuds, but they show up as regular buds. The only reason I question this is because I was using wired yurbuds before these. Are wired earbuds the only kind that support this feature?

The DAC only works with wired headsets. Wireless headsets bypass any internal DAC. The signal gets converted by the DAC built into the head phi.
