My Fitness Pal for calorie tracking - have been doing so for 18 months now
    Endomondo to track my walking

I previously used runtastic and map my walk on my BB before I decided on Endomondo

I lost 130 pounds in just over a year (gained 10 back over the xmas holidays and they're holding on for dear life :/ )

I use Endomondo Pro from time to time as well.

The National Bicycle Commuter Challenge had everyone use this app last year.

I started using Jefit last week and LOVE it. Very easy to use, simple interface, and I love the fact that I can take a look at routines that others have created and download them if I so desire. I also like keeping a running log of my workouts.

Noom Weight Loss Coach(same company that does CardioTrainer) includes pretty much all the features of CardioTrainer, but also adds all that food logging and calorie tracking stuff that some people like as well.

I use Gym Guru to create my workout routines and keep a log of my progress. It's got a pretty clean UI and is simple to use.

I have been using "7 Minute 6 Pack - Ab Workout":

I linked to the free version, but I am using the premium version; it has better workouts.

I have always struggled with back problems so I stopped doing any ab workouts for a couple of years. This app seemed promising, I got back into, and I am actually starting to see results a few weeks in! I think it's worth a shot for anyone trying to sculpt their abs.

I've been using Runkeeper for my runs (with a Polar Wearlink BT heartrate monitor and a Pebble watch). Just wish the watch would show my heartrate.

I went on a few bike rides this summer, and found out about Strava. Now, I use tapiriik.com to sync my Runkeeper runs and rides to Strava. Works pretty well.

Does anyone here have some good advice for interval training apps/ hardware?

I have a S. Note 3 that supports Ant+. I'd like to start interval training on the stationary bike w/ the help of a heart rate monitor strap. My bike has one built in, but I'd like a HRM that responds faster. The handle bar ones seem to lag and I'd also like to be hands free. The bike does support polar heart rate monitors, but It sounds like Ant+ are a little better and I have no idea how a Polar syncs up with the bike, but it is my understanding that polar is blue tooth based.

Endomondo does intervals and works with a bunch of monitors (Zephyr, Wahoo, Polar & Garmin) but I saw somewhere that you also need a Fisica Sensor Key. Is that just for Iphones that don't have built-in Ant+?. I've done some research on HRM brands and Bontrager seems to get good reviews and this website below says it works with both the Samsung Phones and Endomondo. I'm not really commited to either Bontrager HRM or Endomondo though so I welcome other opinions.

It there anything else I'm missing? Is there a cheaper way to go about interval training? I looked into Polar watches, but if I can just get a 5$ app and a 60$ HRM this looks to be the cheaper option that I can also take running.

Thumbs up Re: What Android fitness app is everyone using?

For my exercises and weight lifting I recently switched from using pen and paper to an app and was scared most apps seemed overly complicated.
I found and I like it, simple and easy to use.
