Listening to the podcast this week they mentioned HDMI passthrough and how great that is on the Xbox. I think the Cube had it, too, but never looked much into that.

What I would really like to see is an Android tv OS running an Onkyo (or other) receiver that has multiple (6+) HDMI inputs to switch between, even more with dual HDMI outputs. Yeah, I may be looking at a $1000+ device, but thought this should exist anyway.

Anyone else agree on this? If it could implement chrome/Google cast tech, and also control my home automation, I would be all over that...

We just need more HDBaseT 2.0 for the switching and multi-source issue. It allows matrix switching of sources over twisted pair.

Wouldn't mind Android TV in my receiver, but honestly I don't think I'd want something that changes so frequently in a device I would keep 10+ years...

Really growing restless for pass thru on the new product. Need to replace the Revue like 3yrs ago...
