Great comparison! Both phones are great mid-ranger devices. However, if I was in the market and had these to choose from, I think I’d be going home with the Honor 5X.

5x would be my choice if that was my budget.

It's a good comparison.

Having not used the OnePlus X, I can't really say much... Though, I will say that I will most certainly lean to the 5.5" screen on the Honor. I just got used to larger screen phones. I got big hands and even a 5" screen now seems a little too cramped for my tastes.

And I still have my doubts about OnePlus as a company. It's still a small, young outfit that's finding itself. It's switched OS's twice already, and it just doesn't seem like they are maintaining their oomph. On the other hand, it's not entirely crazy to say that Honor's parent company Huawei may become the world's leading Android OEM in just a few short years (they are already #2).
