How to get rid of huawei's icon themes?

I want normal icons, not huawei ones. In Nova launcher they're normal but on the multitasking screen they're still the huawei icons. Why is it that this guy's multitasking screen has normal icons? (Pictures include)

Some guy's YouTube test trying out the huawei 5x in February. So it can't be marshmallow beta testing
