Nothing here but I like the no app drawer so if I never saw 5.0 I wouldn't mind anyway lol. I love everything about 4.1. It's the perfect blend or hybrid software that gives you both Android and IOS together as smooth harmony. I personally think it's the best ever.

Yesterday i was watching a movie when the updater popped up and the new 7.0 update was downloaded so I installed it and i must say emui 5 is frekin AWESOME. This is a complete phone now , I won't be going back to ios ever now , man the icons , the app drawer , the smooth new notification panel , ahh i love it .. i think it is officially out so check your updates..

The planned release was first week of February, so this seems like a trickle release to make sure everyone has it by then.

You can choose to have or not have the app drawer, it's an option.

Yeah it's certainly an option. I prefer the pixel method the best since it doesn't take up an icon space though. Hopefully that can be incorporated as an option.

Yes, nova and even other launchers like Evie have the gesture. I like it as it allows to replace the app drawer icon with something useful.

I just did a force update using the Charles app method for my FRD-L14 US model and the update is downloading as I speak. For folks interested, here is the response code you need to use for FRD-L14 in the Charles app:

Another thing I just found out that doesnt work with EMUI launcher - App Action Shortcuts. They are very useful. You can get it in Nova and Action launcher though but not in EMUI.

I'm in the UK, on Three, and nothing hitting me yet bar that weird update that wasn't an update!

I'll keep on waiting! Not long now

Better to wait for the official update. I'm also on three, but I am on the beta program.
Best thing about three however, is that there is no carrier bloatware and no wait for them to edit the software themselves because they supply unlocked phones

Nice. I have an unlocked pixel xl bought directly from Google but it still comes with carrier additions .

I too would wait for the official update if i wasn't on the beta program

I'm one of the few that loved Emui 4, so I'll just wait for it to come to my phone, till then, I'm happy with the way it is.
