Marketplace problems

This is not the typical "Where is the Marketplace" question, but rather a question of purchasing through the app. When Alpha 2 came out, there was a link to the newest Market App and I installed it. Since I installed it, I have not been able to purchase anything in the Market App (An error occured. Please try again). I'm still able to use the internet version and purchase with no problem. Is there a way to do a clean install for the Market App so I can purchase again ?
