It really came down to price. We use the tablet at home for browsing and games, so the Fire works pretty well for that, but yep, the Fire is going back tonight. CM9 runs pretty smooth and I'm loving the new Chrome browser. I just couldn't afford to keep both.

Can a mod change the thread title to "Was going to sell TP, CM9 changed my mind"?

Yea I agree with how bad webos is sometimes, but it could be worse... I'm looking at you blackberry playbook! lol but seriously I can't wait to get a good stable ICS port on this thing I mean we are sooooo close.

In the end, the Fire went back and the TP is going on ebay or somewhere to sell. Picked up the Galaxy 8.9 last night, loving it.

For $99, the TP is fine by me. Running CM9 0.6 is good. And it will get better once the video accelleration is fixed.

WebOS is probably the best OS out there. But since app develpment has essentially stopped, I wouldn't use it.

Having two laptops and a Photon 4g phone, I can't really justify paying for a Xoom or iPad. The TP is doing just what I need.

With the cm9 alpha 2 install this is just getting better every day. I tried netflix just for the hell of it last night and of course there was no picture but I was impressed that there was sound. Now with the latest update, netflix is up and running. For $99 the TP was a hell of a deal just when there was only webOS but now it's awesome, even with the bugs, which will get worked out.
