Question about 10's Audio for Streaming Services

Sorry if this has been asked. I searched but the threads are...voluminous.

I stream my music through Google Play Music so it's compressed and all of that. Is the audio aspect of the HTC 10 something I should even care about? My gut tells me it won't do much for it, but I can't find much about it.

If you're talking normal levels of compression, then the 10's quality will still come through. Before I got my SD in, I was listening to Amazon streaming (compressed) through the 10 and it was already a huge step above any other phone I've used. I wouldn't recommend it in cases where someone ripped music at the fastest/lowest quality. But, streaming services are typically good enough in 2016 that the 10 will reveal greater detail, treble and bass extension, more realistic sense of depth and dynamics, etc.
