Major Concern for my VZW HTC 10

My phone has been heating up, acting on its own, opening apps while I'm working, and randomly rebooting. And there is a suspicious icon in the status bar. What is that? Does it have to do with my phone acting up? Has my phone been backed?

Done anything odd with it lately like install something or go someplace questionable? Anything in your app manager file that's different? Maybe backtrack a bit regarding usage and any installations to pinpoint something.
I'd factory reset or maybe clear cache first if you can't figure it out or it doesn't resolve itself.
