Another software update for the US unlocked 10

Just had an update about a month ago. Now there's a new one. Includes April security patch.

Same. I initially got notifications, not sure why they stopped.

Didn't expect another update so quickly, especially after the delay from November to April. Wish we got more details on what it fixes. 500MB should have quite a few of those.

So far, seems to have improved battery life for me. I noticed I was charging my phone more often after last month's update, but today has actually been pretty good. Could be just luck, or something indeed bugged out for me with last month's update. Either way, glad its better now.

That's why I will never buy a carrier phone again. Unlocked or pixel for me.

Unfortunately an unlocked 10 doesn't work properly on Verizon and the pixel has lesser sound quality and other numerous issues. So pick your poison.

I fully understand. That's also why I won't switch to Verizon.

Well at least Unlocked HTC is doing better than my Moto MXPE which is unlocked, and still hasn't even gotten "N" yet, although I believe it is slowly starting to roll out or so rumor has it. Maybe in Europe.
I will say this tho "N"(7.0) works great on my 10 and battery life is good, just no security update since January

That's a bummer ...what is with Verizon ? After getting my 10 last year and then coming to this forum I don't think I've ever used Verizon as a carrier but I guess if you're in an area that might be your only choice and that kind of sucks

System update notice just hit my Verizon 10, April 1 Security Patch.

System update notice just hit my Verizon 10.

Do I need to be on Verizon or can I use HTC manager to update?
I switched carriers but still using the Verizon version of the device.
