the big clock on the aria, can that be changed? like make it smaller at all? because that seems to be the only thing I'm not crazy about. with the storm, you have all of that screen space. so if you have a picture as a background, you can see the whole thing without anything covering it.

so im just curious if it can be changed or not to make it smaller?

what about upgrading operating systems?

I know I can get facebook & twitter... what about myspace application?

and third party apps? I saw something where at&t has that locked?

because I know of several apps that I like but im not sure if they are offered.. stickybits would be one of them. shop savvy is another one. weatherbug, cardstar

and what about a program that supports microsoft programs like excel or office?

3. Office - few options. I use quickoffice. Others recommend Google docs syncing, but I haven't tried that. No good file sync app so u have to manually transfer.

but you can still open & view .doc or .xls files from office? what about pdf files? or email attachments?

It comes with Acrobat and Quickoffice preloaded for those files.

As for changing the clock - you can long-press and remove the stock clock widget, then long-press the empty space and select "Widgets" => "Clock (HTC)". You'll get 5 clocks to choose from.
