Welcome to Android Central! Do you get an error message? What happens when you open the Camera app? Does this persist after rebooting?

I'm confused. Is it working now or not? That's not an error message, so is there still a problem?

So is that screenshot what you see when you open the Camera app? What's the image behind the settings window--is that a still image, or is it an active feed from the camera? What happens when you tap the Camera icon at the bottom?

Oh I see. So only the front-facing camera is working, and you don't have a button to switch to the rear-facing camera?

Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem, in which case you'd probably have to send the phone to HTC or bring it to a local repair shop.

If the phone is still under warranty, then contact HTC directly. If it isn't under warranty, then bring it to a local repair shop. I don't know what link you're asking for.
