How do I deodex my phone or do I even need to, to install a rom/theme? I mean I've been trying to install the Dragon rom by Team Var and my phone won't go past the htc Powered by android screen. Also is there a rom for Boost Mobile HTC Desire 510 phones or kernel for lollipop? Also I'd like to know if I need to re-lock my boot loader?

It is needed to do a custom theme, but HTC has themes that you can use if you go into Settings-Personalize-Theme. I had those same problems with DragonROM, even though I followed the instructions. I am working on helping them to get it to work properly. No, there is no fully working ROM or kernel for Lollipop yet, but some are working on it. To install a custom recovery, ROM, kernel and to root your phone, your bootloader needs to be unlocked.
